Terms of service

1. Scope of Service

Your subscription includes unlimited access to:

  1. Brand Design
  2. Social Media Design
  3. Presentation Design
  4. Digital Ad Design
  5. Document Design

We reserve the right to decline services outside this scope.

2. Unlimited Requests, One at a Time

You can submit as many design requests as you like, we’ll work through them one at a time.
Urgent or time-sensitive requests may be fast-tracked on request, subject to availability.
Turnaround is typically 1–2 business days, depending on the complexity of each task.

3. Submitting Requests

Requests can be made via:

Trello (preferred, great for teams and managing workflow)

Email

WhatsApp

Zoom

Trello boards include Queue, Active, and Completed lists. You control your own priority by moving tasks between columns. Requests can include text, links, files, or video messages.

4. File Delivery & Ownership

Final work is delivered in all major formats (e.g. PNG, JPG, PDF)

All completed work is 100% owned by the client upon delivery

Figma and Canva files can be shared as editable designs or made collaborative by adding a team member to the project

Source files are securely backed up in the cloud for safekeeping

5. Billing, Subscription & Pausing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance

Your plan runs on a rolling monthly basis with no minimum term

You can cancel anytime, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period

Pricing is agreed up front. You can request a review at any time, any changes will apply from the next billing cycle

Pausing:
You may pause your subscription at any time.
When paused, all work stops and billing is frozen. When you resume, the billing cycle resets to reflect the new start date. You can pause or resume as often as needed.

6. Free Trial & Refunds

A free trial is available on request

No refunds are issued for billed cycles once payment has been processed

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm (UK time)
If unavailable due to holiday, illness, or any other reason, you’ll be notified, and we’ll offer the option to pause or reschedule your work or subscription.

8. Ethics & Restrictions

Design Shake will not accept projects that are:

Illegal

Offensive

Misleading

We do not use AI-generated designs, unless specifically requested.
We can provide source files as proof of manual work if needed.

9. Disclaimers

We are not liable for:

Errors caused by external printing services

Limitations of third-party platforms

Any issues arising from how designs are used or distributed after delivery

Please review all files before using or publishing them.

10. Conduct & Collaboration

We aim to work respectfully, openly, and efficiently. In return, we expect professional and timely communication. If something’s off, let’s chat about it, we’re here to help.

11. Brand Acknowledgement

Unless you request otherwise, you grant permission for your company logo to appear in the “Brands I Work With” section on the Design Shake website and in marketing materials. This is purely to showcase the variety of clients we support, no endorsements or claims will be made.
Logos will always be used respectfully and removed immediately upon request.
